The Snow Pond Music Festival (SPMF) hosted on the beautiful campus of Snow Pond Center for Arts, located in the Belgrade Lakes Region of central Maine, attracts advanced college, graduate, and post-graduate level musicians from around the world. Each summer, the highest caliber performers and educators join the SPMF faculty to present specialized music programs to challenge and inspire the next generation of musicians and cultural ambassadors.

The programs at SPMF provide participants with an intimate environment unmatched by other music festivals. Participants work one-on-one with professional musicians in rehearsal, workshop, and private lesson formats.

COVID-19 Safety Update

Nov 12, 2021

As the Snow Pond Center for the Arts prepares for our 2022 season, we will be closely following all recommendations from the Maine CDC, The American Camp Association, and the Maine Summer Camps Organization.

At this time we plan to require full vaccination for all participants, staff, and faculty for the 2022 season. Our goal is to run the college programs as safely and ‘normally’ as possible.

Medical exemption waivers will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by a committee of medical professionals and camp administrators. The waiver will be made available in early 2022 and must be submitted with a note from your doctor.
