The following outlines our covid protocols for NEAMC 2022. Should CDC guidance change between now and the start of camp, protocols may be updated. Should an update to protocols be necessary, you will be contacted via the email address on file. Registrants or staff who do not comply with these policies will not be admitted, and will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.
All campers, faculty, staff (and family members) are required to be up to date on their Covid-19 vaccinations, per CDC guidelines. Note that all adults are required to have at least one booster; the CDC currently recommends that adults 50 and over receive a second booster. The second booster is not required by NEAMC, but we encourage eligible adults to receive it.
Vaccinations must be completed 14 days prior to arrival at camp; campers should complete their vaccinations by August 8th, and faculty/staff must complete vaccinations by August 7th.
All campers, faculty, staff, and family must arrive with proof of a negative PCR covid test conducted within 72 hours of arrival.
If your test results are greater than 72 hours old upon arrival at camp, you will be required to obtain and complete a rapid test kit before being admitted to camp.  The camp will not have test kits available.
Additionally, we request and strongly encourage that everyone bring a rapid-test and complete it upon arrival at camp registration.  This will help to promote a safe environment for all.

Lastly, we strongly encourage that everyone bring two or more rapid test kits with you to camp. If you do not need to use the tests while at camp, you will take them home with you. Last year the camp had access to many free tests from the State of Maine. This year, the camp does not have tests available. Tests may or may not be available at local retail stores, as stock can vary. U.S. Residents can obtain tests for free via a government program: Please allow enough time for shipping if you are ordering via this method- it generally takes a couple of weeks.
