Applications Are Now Being Accepted For ALL SPMF Programs
The Snow Pond Music Festival (SPMF) hosted on the beautiful campus of Snow Pond Center for Arts, located in the Belgrade Lakes Region of central Maine, attracts advanced college, graduate, and post-graduate level musicians from around the world. Each summer, the highest caliber performers and educators join the SPMF faculty to present specialized music programs to challenge and inspire the next generation of musicians and cultural ambassadors.
The programs at SPMF provide participants with an intimate environment unmatched by other music festivals. Participants work one-on-one with professional musicians in rehearsal, workshop, and private lesson formats.

As the Snow Pond Music Festival prepares for our 2021 season in partnership with Snow Pond Center for the Arts, we are closely following developments of the COVID-19 global pandemic. In order to ensure everyone’s safety during our program we, in conjunction with Snow Pond Center for the Arts and New England Music Camp, will be working with the Maine CDC guidelines, the American Camp Association, the Maine Summer Camps organization, and infectious disease experts to put together a series of protocols that will be followed during our time together. Given the rapidly changing nature of the public health situation, a final set of protocols will not be announced until closer to summer. Please be assured, though, that we are developing a plan and several contingencies to ensure a successful and safe summer for all. Our goal is to create as “normal” an experience as we can for both students and faculty to thrive artistically. After we release our complete COVID safety plan, we will work with prospective/accepted students to coordinate a safe and healthy experience at the SPMF.
