individual adult lessonsPrivate lessons provide students with individual instruction with one of our talented faculty members and are geared towards the specific goals, needs and aspirations of each student. Music lessons are available for all ages and experience levels.

Individual lessons are available weekly for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, throughout the academic year.  We have instructors providing individual instruction on a variety of instruments throughout the Greater Augusta and Waterville areas. Woodwind, Brass, Strings, Percussion, Voice, Piano and Folk Instrument (guitar, banjo, mandolin) lessons available.

Individual Lesson Fees:

30 min. lessons – $26.50 per lesson, $848 per academic year
45 min. lessons – $39.75 per lesson, $1,272 per academic year
60 min. lessons – $53 per lesson, $1,696 per academic year

singing for adultsLearn or revisit the basics of healthy singing and beautiful tone production in a fun, supportive class with other singers. Group lessons are a great opportunity for singers to gain basic singing knowledge and skills in a pressure-free setting, in a relatively short time and at an affordable price.

Prerequisites: None – open to all adults – no prior singing or musical experience necessary!

group piano classThis course, for adults with little or no previous experience playing piano, provides an introduction to the fundamentals of piano technique and music theory. In a hands-on piano lab group setting, students will be introduced to keyboard orientation, music theory, and notation.

Prerequisites – No previous experience required

Required Materials – Accelerated Piano Adventures for the Older Beginner – Lesson Book 1 by Nancy Faber – online at Amazon for $7.98

ukulele ensembleInstructor: TBD

Location: Snow Pond Community Music School

The ukulele is now more popular than ever before and very affordable. This versatile instrument is no longer just for Hawaiian music, it is used for rock, jazz, classical, folk and even heavy metal. Learn to play chords and tunes, while also being introduced to tablature and music sight-reading.

Prerequisites

This class is recommended for all students: beginners, self-taught, or those with prior experience on another instrument.

Instrument and Required Materials

Ukuleles are available for purchase or rental from Snow Pond Community Music School, or you can bring your own. The instructor can help with recommendations on purchasing an instrument. The book required for the class is: Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book.
