Snow Pond Center for the Arts is closely monitoring information released by the CDC and the Maine Health Department in regards to Covid-19. Given that this is a dynamic and evolving situation, we will continue to coordinate with and rely on public health officials to provide the best information and guidance.
Please know, the health and safety of our staff, and guests is and will always be our highest priority.
Should Snow Pond Center for the Arts not be able to hold events in the fall of 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all guests registered to attend a wedding will have two options:
1) Apply all paid funds to the adjusted date of the event.
2) Receive a full refund of all paid funds.
Should an event organizer cancel an event, refunds will be based on contracts in place.
We will continue to communicate with event organizers, and other key contacts to relay updates as we receive them. In the meantime, please stay home and stay healthy so we are able to celebrate each wedding as planned.
Our campus is available to host your event whether it be a community event, music performance, business meeting, wedding, or an event that needs lodging. Snow Pond Center for the Arts is a beautiful setting for indoor and outdoor events. Our campus is truly unique when it comes to having a relaxed setting to host your event.
Weddings – Snow Pond Center for the Arts is the ultimate Maine destination camp-style wedding venue. Nestled on the shores of Lake Messalonskee in the Belgrade Lakes region of central Maine, the setting is ideal for private wedding parties up to 200. House all family, friends and invited guests in our private 1 or 2 bedroom cabins with living room and private bath or Snow Pond’s dormitory for a fraction of the usual cost. They will enjoy lake views, hiking and outdoor activities while you prepare for your ceremony at one of numerous picturesque locations, outside or inside, at one of the most beautiful lakeside settings in Maine. Then gather inside the Lodge for your blue-ribbon, custom designed catered reception followed by dancing and the celebration of a lifetime. Should your needs require a larger space and concert hall quality acoustics, you may want to move your party to Alumni Hall after your reception dinner. Your guests end the evening with a gentle stroll to their private cabin, waking to a classic Maine morning and hearty buffet-style brunch in the Lodge prior to leaving for home.
Private 1 Bedroom Cabin-$100/per night ; 2 Bedroom Cabin-$130/per night; 3 Bedroom Cabin- $160/per night

Business Meetings and Conferences – There are numerous multipurpose rooms to accommodate presentations, U-shaped or classroom style set-ups for small group meetings and more formal business events. (not available June through August) Lodging is available May, September, and October. We will work with you to provide you with the best space for your function needs.
Music Performances – Snow Pond Center for the Arts is the ideal venue for any size music performance.
Special Events (parties, dances, fund raising events, etc.) – Contact us for all your special event needs. (not available June through August).

Spaces For Rent
The Lodge - The postcard-worthy backdrop of our 100 year-old Lodge is just one compelling reason to host your wedding or event at Snow Pond. Enjoy cocktails and appetizers on the patio and porch overlooking Lake Messalonskee or host a rustic dinner inside.
Alumni Hall -Regarded as one of the finest acoustical performance spaces in central Maine. Alumni Hall serves as the primary recital venue for most indoor musical events, and can seat 300. The hall is available for rent September-May.
