 Chamber Music Intensive was a success!

 Although the summer of 2020 did not allow us to offer our traditional summer camp programs and special concert events, we were able to offer a very successful virtual music camp program in July, and a Chamber Music Intensive program which brought 40 advanced young musicians from the New England area for two weeks here on the Snow Pond campus. It was so wonderful to hear music on the campgrounds again! The students shared their talents with the guests at the Lodge Restaurant one evening, when many of the small groups played a movement of the pieces they had been working on during the camp program. The camp culminated with a public concert at the Bowl in the Pines, where face masks and socially distanced seating were practiced. 

We are currently in the midst of planning for the 2021 summer season, which will be the 85th anniversary celebration of New England Music Camp. We cannot wait to share some of the exciting and unique programs we will be offering next summer in addition to our traditional music camp program!
