Prelude String Orchestra Camp

July 24 - August 7, 2023

NEMC Prelude String Orchestra Camp is a two-week sleepaway camp that welcomes upper elementary and middle school string players, ages 9-13, to an orchestra ensemble experience. Specifically designed for string players entering grades 4-9, this camp will bring fun and excitement to playing in a group! Each morning, campers will rehearse in string orchestra ensembles, as well as participate in small group lessons, music theory classes, and sight reading sessions to enhance their string playing skills. In the afternoons and evenings, campers will participate in traditional recreational activities to enjoy the lake-front campus of NEMC. The session culminates with a final concert performance at the Bowl in the Pines.
